If you were to pop down in Funan, you will find yourself in a shop called Battle Bunker.

I was quite impressed by the set up, a huge table for gamers and lots of stock of GamesWorkshop kits.

They have some good stuff on showcase as well as the not so good stuff, but hey those were probably because some of the gamers have not completed painting their Armies.

What I did not like as most of you savvy buyers will tend to agree, yes you are right, the PRICES!!!!

I was of the impression, initially, that I had heard wrong.  I confirmed with the boss, that their prices are a lot more expensive because of their expenses!

Hmmm….

When I asked why it was more than others locally selling these same items, came the reply – wait for it… drum rolls please!!!!

Hey, he is right.  Have you all been to Paradigm in Orchard Point?

Well, if you are to lazy to buy online, I mean if you need to see the model, feel the box and purchase it on site.   Best to head on down to Paradigm… alot cheaper!

But if you are as cool calm and collected as moi, O Ok, as broke as me, do it online.  Just make sure you buy all you need within the shipping limit of 10 pounds sterling! They sell it less VAT!  Including conversion of monies… you end up getting quite a bit of savings!

Hey, but if you are rich and you just don’t give a damn, then head on down to these stores!

(incidentally, Paradigm will be undergoing a shift! Paradigm Shift… get it? Ok lame! but they are expanding and occupying the next door neighbour apparently!)

Been kinda busy with projects and children’s school holidays! Well, am also working on a short story to submit before end of July 2011. Yup, Black Library! Yup on Dark Angels. If they don want it, will let you all read it for freeee! Ok gotta go, but just know I ain’t too far away!

Well, I finally finished the Vet Decius of the Deathwing – 1st Company.

Decius is ready to rake in a few more kills.He is passing thru the underbelly of the Space Hulk with murky Xenos muck under the metal grating.

I decided to have few bits and pieces in green to indicate association with Dark Angel Chapter, eg the Power Fist digits.

Here is the back of Decius, with damage and corrosion from absolutely acidic gasses.

If you were observant, you will notice that I have also started on Deathwing Sargent Terius.

I am hoping to also convert one of the DeathWing member to become a Librarian… or if I get lazy, I may just buy one!

Well, the scout speeder is on hold until….?????  Duno!

Well I thought about how to best reach a a decent good result on the go, so mixed Dheneb – Foundation; with Bleached bone!

Then ofcourse I decided to go for dark stone like grey for most of the insignia. (Adeptus Grey Foundation and mixed with a bit of Chaos Black.

Next highlight the insignias by dry brushing the lighter grey.

What do you all think?  I apologize for putting out such unfinished Marines!

What can I say? I have been working on this team on and off for sometime now. I work on it as and when I feel like it.

This team is to enter the Space Hulk to do 2 things:

• Swiftly access the Hulk to the coolant unit protecting the Servitor at all cost
• Administer an experimental deadly virus carried by the servitor into the coolant unit and thereby assess the kill rate.

Brother Librarian - Dark Angel

A Dark Angel Librarian Ignitus is part of the team to assist in possible pyschic threat… or does he have another agenda? Dark Angels, who can tell? Using a Magma Sword – highly flammable. He packs a flamer as well to burn all xenos!

DeathWatch - Spacewolf Brother Rolfgaart

Spacewolf Brother Rolfgaart with a swinging Power Axe and laser sighted Bolter. Close-quarter fighting specialist!

Servitor

Focus is on the servitor that is important in this mission, thus have to be protected at all cost.

Blood Angel Brother Leonides with heavy rapid fire bolter to chew up any xenos to dust! Has a standard issue pistol for close quaters.

Well,

I have little Discipline and my mind tends to want to paint somethingelse all the time even if the one I was working on is only half-complete!  I know why I do that… it is because I want to finish everything at the same time!  Well, I tend to want to finish the one that I have been inspired to finish too!

Recently I have been disciplining myself to finish the Scout Speeder!  I decided to gift this speeder to my favorite Spacewolf Scouts.  And below you can see the progress thus far!
